So Many Topics Past Week
There are so many topics here to cover, but I could not possibility blog each of the following interesting items that I find in detail. Though I can brief you, the readers in bytes. Don't we all like just enough details without the junk?
AlterNet, a site that related to Reuters, published an article about Sex and Relationship. There are a few more of those articles that were published the last week. But I find this interesting for the reason that the title was Pornography and the End of Masculinity. For more, you can read it for yourself.
Now to the world of security, US will say any countries that are not up to their standards need to fix their infrastructures, security, checks on food safety etc and the list does not end. Now Canada is in light because they have a vast boarder that are not manned. Mexico got their dose for that too. Oh, how painful.
Now that is not enough, eBay is a haven for Canada, and Revenue Canada finds out that Canadians utilized ebay the most. What a surprise! Thought US would be more enterprising on selling stuff online, guess that honour will have to belong to Canada now. Wait a minute though, ebay have sites both in US and Canada for folks that desire for good will and buying a round of golf to see Tiger Woods at PGA 2008. Or if you want to go and hear a reading of The Simpsons in Hollywood and get Simpsons merchandises. All you need to do is to head to ebay and bid with the perspective charities for more information.
The American Dollar hitted the all time low. The perception of having Americans staying home and not shopping cannot be anymore not true. They will continue to shop and look for good deals. The amount may be smaller, but they still will shop and trade. They will still travel everywhere in the US and elsewhere by cheaper means.
To round up, as much as we look forward or just mentally fatigued on the thought of Christmas season, Apple line up for more gadget goodies vs Microsoft goodies. Apple lowered their prices before the shopping season begins. In one article, Jobs said that for the case of the iPhone, if you wait til the price goes down, you can, but new technologies comes out to replace the old technology very few months. If you always wait for the prices to go down, you have the choice not to buy it. After reading this article, my laptop shopping was spoiled. More in another entry.
Stay tuned in various issues in blog entries.
