Toys are among least on my shopping List now

Posted on Oct 30th, 2007 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
Hi, if you do not know the increasingly worries about your food, medicines, toys, computers, batteries, pet foods and toothpaste are made in somewhere else around the world either than North America.  Now if you do not know that most of your food's food-print gets really big because there are in no particular order: manufacturer, distributor, assembly, dealer, seller and then to you the customer.  These processes end up heading everywhere else around the world and before landing to your local supermarket or stores.  There are serious issues with the chains of supply of food and consumption of items.  There are calls for clearer labelling of where each of the foods are made.  There are calls as to where toys are being contracted out to.  There are of course calls for everything.  What can we all do?  Calls for regulations are a good thing.  Unfortunately, laws from each countries differ.  We have issues collaborating with one country to another with issues of importance.   I have more questions then answers to these trading crisis.
In the end of this entry, there are following links and sites for you to review.
