Intro/Guide to Canada

Posted on May 23rd, 2007 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
Dear Canada
Canada is a beautiful country. I lived in three provinces, which I cannot say are the same. They are vastly different. CBC did a open survey searching for Canadian seven wonders. This week, CBC lets people to vote on which of the Canadian wonders shall be seven wonders of Canada.
Unlike other countries that I did visited, Canada is worth a time to visit and tour about. Now Canada has quite a number of woes that most of non-Canadians would not know. Okay, you know about how our current government ducks on Kyoto Accord. Thats another woe. Our visitors are migrating to warmer and exotic locales like Mexico, France, Mediterranean, China, and Fuji etc.. Our boarder and passport rules are getting stiffer. Our visitors do not know about Canada. Canada is so taken over by US and various companies that even our own Canadian companies like Bell Canada (finding a potential buyer, could we end up some overseas ownership), Air Canada, Canada Post(now runs by bunches of us people), beer companies, Second Cup(a coffee shop, US=Starbucks) Magna(car parts manufacture, oh is the daughter name Belinda?)etc.....All they know are takeovers, I believe! Okay expect our native Indian poles in British Columbia and the beautiful rocky mountains.

When I traveled to US, some people in the bus would ask do we say, aaeah? I asked someone from natively born in Canada and said, that just a slang. Do Canadians live in the cold most of the year? Or do we live in an igloo? omg, some even would ask, does the Queen rule our country? If you would like to explore Canada, please explore with Google maps, Live Maps(MSN search engine) or your local library.
