This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 25, 2008:
Suffering makes people grow. Only through that, people will grow. Babies fall and pick themselves up through parent's help. They still would cry. These are the little suffering. To them, its major pains to the baby. As we grow up, we go through more suffering big and small. Some significant or not too important. Some of these can be the suffering of the social in magnitude like what I saw on an art installation:
Diverciudad is an art installation in celebration of Pride 2008, and exhibits the talent of Latin American Queer artists living in Toronto. Homophobia strongly plagues Latin American communities everywhere, and Diverciudad aims to create a safe space where the artists can be seen beyond gender or sexual orientation.
To end with this entry, I will put a quote and artwork. The artwork is copyright by the artists and its graciously allowed to be posted by the Hispanic Develop Council in support with Centre for Spanish Speaking People in Toronto, Canada.“Suffering is the price of being alive, and it is music and singing and art that has helped me live through some of the most difficult things that have happened to me”
