What message does your highest self have for the world?

Posted on Mar 18th, 2009 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 18, 2009:

Message: I rather have more questions then answers to the world.  Its to have a more critical thinking and analytical skills in our modern life.  We are losing our way of having common sense and we are becoming more radical or stubborn or against one another. Could we put less foot on our mouth and brain in our processes?  I must be wishing upon the stars now!

Great reply! People never listen to answers. But give them questions which contradict their current view, and change may happen. Because people doesn’t like being proven wrong.

For example. Statement: “Genesis is the literal Truth.” Question: “But what about this giant heap of evidence?” You don’t say: “Evolution is the truth, damnit! You are utterly stupid!!!”

S: “Money is awesome, and screw everyone else.” Q: “But what if the earth is destroyed and/or our society forced into chaos because of your current behaviour which doesn’t take our planet into consideration? Then you wouldn’t be able to enjoy your money, right?” YDS: ”You are so damn greedy, you should share more, and think about the whole planet and its population instead of just about just yourself!!!”

S: “There are no ultimate truths.” Q: “Isn’t that very statement an ultimate truth?” YDS: “You uneducated, irrational new age hippie freak!!!”

Cheers,

Dawid.

Thanks for your comment, rather more thoughts to ponder about. As I grow older, I become a person of: please let me know that I am wrong. I aren’t perfect. I am a flawed person, but with good positive view of self. Going to your point: contradict your own pt of views, yes we all do at times, when we don’t take the time to think or when we’re angry. We need to find answers to back ourselves up when we have to prove our pts. We become complacent, I guess in some way.
