Actually May is here, but April showers has remain in the city of Toronto for now.  There are some spots of sunshine.  I would not say exactly that it is global warming, rather its weather changes that we do not know yet what it would come about this coming summer.  Lily of the Valley is the May flower.  About the flower: low-growing perennial plant having usually two large oblong lanceolate leaves and a raceme of small fragrant nodding bell-shaped flowers followed by scarlet berries.

When did you do the most growing up?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 04, 2009:

DID the most GROWING UP in big capital letters?  I can say I am in continous conquest of doing my growing every single day of the second, minutes, hour, day, year, decade, or lifetime.  I can say that maturity will always be illustive and at best a goal that we would like to achieve.  Not that we are not mature as a person, we may be in some aspects of our lives, but we may also be a child at heart.
The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives.
Albert Einstein

Who are we?

Posted on May 7th, 2009 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 02, 2009:

Who am I? I am such a boring person, just kidding, not really.  I am a female, diverse, multi-colored, multi-talented, cat lady, health conscious, loving, flawed with errors & a whole lot more in luggage human being...I just find a few interesting quotes that I would like to put up: "Who are we really? Combinations of common chemicals that perform mechanical actions for a few years before crumbling back into the original components? Fresh new souls, drawn at random for some celestial cupboard where God keeps an unending supply?

or the same soul, immortal and eternal, refurbished and reused through endless lives, by that thrifty Housekeeper? In Her wisdom and benevolence She wipes off the memory slates, as part of the cleaning process, because if we could remember all the things we have experienced in earlier lives, we might object to risking it again. "
— Elizabeth Peters

I do not know I would really agree with this following quote: We are what we repeatedly do. Aristotle
We do subject to change!

What are you sensitive about?

Posted on May 14th, 2009 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 14, 2009:

As a whole being, I would like to discuss in brief about sensitivity as whole.  When I hear emergency sounds, I don't like them.  Those shrill sound are so ewww!  I also find love the most sensitive feeling one can feel.  Love is one of those feelings that needs to be tread carefully.
People's feelings is another place where sensitivity can occur.
I learn how to be sentitive without taking too personally when people have their emotional movements.

Where would you like to go deeper in your life?

Posted on May 15th, 2009 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 15, 2009:

there are a number of items I would like to examine into deeper, but I only can examine so much.  One thing I would like to go into further would be our way of thinking, why can't we make any common sense when we need to make judgments?  Why would I like to go deeper into the human mind?  This blog is more of a personal blog, yet at the same time, I would like to be a philosophical blog.  I begin to find that common sense triumphs over heart plenty of times.  Yet, at times, you need to use your mind along with your heart with comfort & assurance.  The following would be briefly listed as examples: In North America, we put money first before the environment.  Environment is lip service. Economic recovery should be first.  In my mind, I don't understand about how money would solve everything.
Another issue: how negativity trumps over positivity?  We as human beings, just believe the tragic end of issues.  How, in my thoughts, only scientists could understand as wiring.
With these examples, not that I don't have bad days, I learn how to manage my so so days better & also with greater understanding of mind & the wider world, I am not alone.
"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." Albert Einstein

What are your legacies?

Posted on May 16th, 2009 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 16, 2009:

Quite frankly, the question at first sounded a bit mobid.  As I looked into it in detail, I know it was not meant to be that tragic.  It is meant to be more of a reflective Q & A.  From the day one is born to now.  What i have from my parents are:  they really give me a mind of my own to stand up on my own.  A common sense, emotions which I need when I am happy or not happy to share with others, knowledge that I obtained throughout my life that I could give it back & obtain from others & a good global citizen, which may be noted as a legacy worth remembering.

Where, or what, would you like to finally surrender?

It is better to have loved and lost than never to have lost at all.

Celine Dion I Surrender Live

Of course the song doesn't entirely represent entirely my whole meaning of love.  That was when I was really sad or need a poke in my reminder!

GrandPiano

Although over the years, I played tenor saxophone, piano (about a grade 1.5) and French Horn, I never quite master each of the instruments.
The piano and the saxophone would be the instruments that I would like to keep playing again when I can find the time and the money.  Well, saxophone probably will be first, its more affordable..

How could you create more peace in your life?

Posted on May 27th, 2009 by rugged_gurl1 : The Virtue of Many Things In Life rugged_gurl1
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 26, 2009:

I heard this song ever since I was a teenager, its from Bob Dylan
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

~ Bob Dylan ~
This tune always is so serene to me to hear.
